About Data Processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it (or have it stored), what security techniques we use and to whom the data is accessible.
Personal data
Depending on the orders and website visits, we may process the following personal data from you:

– Information that you enter yourself in an open field, such as a wish, or a message in the contact form

Backup of (personal) data
We make backups of our ICT system so that we can restore them in the event of a security incident. We are also obliged to properly secure your personal data and to be able to restore it.
We learn from security incidents at other organizations and realize that despite our efforts, such a situation can also happen to us. If there is a security indication or if an ICT system crashes, we will recover our data, including your personal data. We will then review all requests to delete personal data and ensure that we are not recovering personal data that we are not authorized to possess.
We make the following backups:
– Daily backups of the website (My Domain) which we keep for a maximum of 30 days
– Monthly backups on external hard drive which we will keep for a maximum of 1 year
Provision to third parties
We pass on the information you provide to third parties if this is necessary for the delivery of the products you ordered or for our own commercial purposes (Facebook and Google advertising). For example, we use a third party to process iDeal payments in our shop and we give your details to the postman to deliver the order to you.
Furthermore, we will also provide the data you provided to other (government) parties if this is legally required.
For example, it is possible that the police in the context of fraud investigation data from us. In that case we are legally obliged to hand over your data. It is also possible that one of our sales outlets will take care of your order for us, in which case it will be necessary to send your order to you.

Our web store is developed with WordPress software. Personal data that you make available to us for our services are shared with this party. WordPress has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. WordPress is obliged by the agreement we made with them to take appropriate security measures. Webhosting
Strato
We purchase web hosting and email services from Strato. MijnDomein processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Strato has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Strato is bound to secrecy under the terms of the agreement.
We use the services of MijnDomein for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Strato has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.
Payment processors
Mollie
For handling (part of) the payments in our store, we use the platform of Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address and place of residence data and your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and in this context to share (anonymized) data with third parties. All of the above guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of Mollie’s services for which it engages third parties. Mollie will not retain your data any longer than permitted by law.
Shipping and Logistics
PostNL
When you place an order with us, it is our job to get your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to perform the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence data with PostNL. PostNL will only use this data for the performance of the agreement. If PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.
Woocommerce
For tracking our orders, we use the services of Woocommerce. We share your name, address and city information and details regarding your order. This data is used to administer sales invoices. Your personal data is stored. Woocommerce is bound to secrecy and will treat your data confidentially. Woocommerce will not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.
Purpose of data processing
We process your personal data for one or more of the following purposes (depending on which functionalities you use):

Through our website, cookies are placed by the American company Google, as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and get reports about how visitors use the website.
